I know I start every blog post, “Where do I start?”. But seriously, where do I start? This wedding was near and dear to my heart as this beautiful bride is a dear friend. Katie is my long time friend from high school. Even though we were separated by states, we have managed, over 13 years (after high school…do the math) to stay in touch with the occasional Facebook message or text message. I remember vividly getting the text message from Katie after her first date with Richard, “Whitney, I just had the best date ever!!!!” That text message was enough for me to know, this one was different. Sure enough, it wasn’t long after that I was getting the invite to photograph their wedding.
